Description:
The Little Red Shed is a funky, family-friendly bach with a hint of fun. Enjoy our garden with native trees, palms and plenty of lawn for outdoor games and running around. We are very handy to beach & estuary which are just a hop skip and jump away.
It’s a great place to unwind and get away from the city.
Take a stroll to the awesome waves of the surf beach or a 5 minute walk to the child-friendly estuary, and white sand dunes, there’s a boat ramp for you boaties, you can even hire a kayak.
Shops include a 4 Square grocer, chemist, bakery, delicatessen with several cafe’s, or a great fish & chip shop all approximately 5 minute walk or two minutes by car. There is even a mini golf course.
The Mangawhai Golf course is just along the road, as is the Bowling Club.
This bach offers comfortable easy living with loads of charm, the lounge and dining area are downstairs, with the mezzanine and bedrooms upstairs. We have one large double bedroom and a single bunkroom.
French doors open from lounge & dining onto courtyard for private sunny alfresco dining and BBQ entertaining area.
We offer a well equipped kitchen, with the basic food items such as, flour, sugar, tea and coffee.
There is ample off street parking, with enough room for a boat.
Accommodation is perfect for a family of 4 but will sleep up to 6 people.
Approximately 5km drive back to Mangawhai village, there is market day held every Saturday morning or just across the road you can indulge in the Bennetts of Mangawhai chocolate factory and shop with a real Italian atmosphere, mini market, plus a Gelato ice-cream shop & cafe for a great breakfast, brunch or lunch.
