Boat ramps are located at North Avenue, Alamar Crescent, Lincoln Street and Moir Street.

There is a ski lane in the Mangawhai Estuary, for more information see the notice board at the Alamar Crescent boat ramp.

Fishing Off The Beach

Go to the Mangawhai Heads Surf Beach then walk north along the beach until you get to the rocky shoreline and reef area.
Head Rock

Go to the Mangawhai Heads Surf Beach and walk out to the head rock, note: you can’t walk out at high tide.
Pacific Beach

Drive down Blackswamp Road, turn left at forestry gates. Drive to the carpark at the end of the road.
